B & S Studios (Pty) Ltd is located in the trendy De Waterkant area in Cape Town, South Africa.

Founded in 1981 by industry legend Jerry Barnard and business partner Eric Smith, it has been the premier audio facility in Cape Town by remaining at the top of its game for the last 30 years. Anyone who is anyone in the industry has at some point, in some way, been involved with B & S. Murray Stewart, Graham Merrill, Andrew Ford, Craig Ormond, Arnold Vermaak, Ryan Grogan and Hilton Mowday all cut their teeth at B & S.

There are four fully equipped recording studios – a large music studio for tracking, mixing & post production and three post-production studios focusing on sound to picture, radio and sound design, including full 5.1 capabilities as well as connection to anywhere in the world via APT – X ISDN. The studios also have a full electricity back-up system for those load shedding, and dark days, which ensures all four studios stay up and running no matter what. All studios are linked to an efficient network for easy session transfer and audio link up.

An enormous production music library, a staggering 250G+ SFX library and some of the best foley artists around, ensure world-class productions that always come in on budget and in time.
